Wedding Cakes

100_2069 six layer wedding cakeI have been making wedding cakes since I was 15 years old and that was along time ago since my oldest granddaughter is now 13 years old.  I really like to use Plugra butter for my frosting it is the best I think!  The tallest cake I ever made was just last year, six layers just about a tall as me 5ft. 2in.  The bride described what her dream was and I started working away.  She flew me as close as she could the I dove the rest of the way.  So I packed all my baking pans and found the nearest Trader Joe’s for the Plugra and had them do a “Customer Hold” so I didn’t have to go on a hunt in this little town in the middle of noware.
